The Chinese scientific research team has just released the results of the first large-scale NAD+ study in the Chinese population, revealing gender differences in NAD+ levels.

Recently, another study, "Association between NAD+ levels and anaemia among women in community-based study", was published to study the relationship

between NAD+ levels in women's blood and anemia. This result was published in the authoritative journal "Journal of Cellular and Molecular". Published in Medicine.

Anemia is a worldwide health problem - the World Health Organization (WHO)

estimates that 32.4 million pregnant women and 496.3 million non-pregnant women worldwide suffered from anemia in 2019, and severe anemia in pregnant and postpartum women can lead to maternal death. The fifth national nutrition and

health survey in China showed that the prevalence of anemia was about 15.0%, and the prevalence of anemia among rural women of childbearing age in China in 2012 was 24.8%.

Anemia also accelerates aging

Anemia not only increases cardiovascular disease but also accelerates aging. Managing anemia has become one of the global health goals. However, current research has limited data on the association between NAD+ and anemia, so the

research team explored the relationship between NAD+ levels and anemia in women. The final findings showed that higher NAD+ levels were significantly associated with a lower prevalence of anemia in women, especially microcytic and normocytic

anemia.

The relationship between NAD+ level and anemia in women

A total of 727 females from the Jidong community were included in the study, and the average age of the subjects was 42.7 years. Basic information on subjects was obtained through standardized questionnaires, laboratory tests, and clinical examinations. The researchers divided the subjects into four groups according to their blood NAD+ levels: Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. The NAD+ levels were <27.6μmol/L, 27.6-31.0μmol/L, 31.0-34.5μmol/L, ≥34.5 μmol/L. In the four groups, the incidence

of anemia was 19.7%, 4.8%, 3.4% and 2.7%, respectively. The data showed that lower NAD+ levels were associated with higher prevalence of anemia.

Association between NAD+ levels and types of anemia in women

In this community-based study, NAD+ levels were significantly associated with

anemia prevalence in women. High NAD+ levels in whole blood are associated with a lower prevalence of anemia in women, especially microcytic anemia.

In addition, hematological parameters such as hemoglobin (Hb), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), and red blood cell count (RBC) were positively correlated with NAD+ levels, and hematological parameters can be used as Predictors of lack of

NAD+ in whole blood. However, this study also has certain limitations, and the causal relationship between NAD+ and the occurrence and development of anemia still

needs to be further studied in future research. Every capsule of ROCitin NMN is German quality

NMN (β-nicotinamide mononucleotide, Nicotinamide mononucleotide) is an endogenous substance that exists in our body. In 2013, it was proved by David

Sinclair, professor of genetics at Harvard Medical School, that NMN has Anti-aging

effect. Numerous scientific research institutions and scientists have proved that NMN can be quickly converted into NAD+ in the body, and through NDA+, it can delay aging, improve cell vitality, and improve body functions.

Any viable product, first of all, is a product with guaranteed quality and safety. As a product closely related to human health, NMN has higher requirements on product quality and safety. ROCitin has passed the safety test of Swiss SGS, an international authoritative organization, and implements higher test requirements than health food standards. The test results show that it does not contain 481 pesticide residues, 360 common western medicine ingredients, qualified heavy metal content, and qualified microbial content.

In addition to the blessing of German medical technology, ROCitin NMN has been pursuing quality and safety since its birth. From material selection to packaging, every link is carefully polished, just to pass on health to consumers.
